Buenos Aires to California

On May 15, 2006 I was born, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At two months old, I traveled by plane with my godparents Adriana and Regan Bailey to my new home with Kym and Dan Citera.

I live on a small horse ranch. My new humans need me to take over for my retiring Uncle Che (my name sake) and watch over the place. Also to keep Nela in line. She is also lives with us, and is Dogo Argentino who loves to hunt rabbit, pidgeon, squirrel, and mice (basically anything that runs).  Well, with Che in retirement, Nela had no one to play with, so here I am!

... I relocate to Southern California

Since California is more than a hop, skip and a jump from Argentina, I had to take a long flight. My new humans were waiting for me at LAX, and within 2 hours of my flight arrival I was in my new home.

Finally, I was going to get my first good meal in about 24 hours. And was I hungry! I was looking forward to some good Argentine beef, when I found out that these Californians thought I would eat kibble. It was time for me to have the first of many discussions with my new humans. So, within a few days, I am right at home. One of my favorite things to do, is pull off the “scrunchy” of the hair of my female human. I just love the way she screams, chases me and tries to take the scrunchie away. Apparently she forgot about the famous Dogo “clamp down”.

As you can see I am now grown. Check back frequently for the dumb pictures my human likes to post. Oh, and the food? Well it’s not Argentine beef ... but anything beats that dead hard stuff they call kibble! We will bark more about that later.

Dogos are different

My humans were used to dogos, so I was real lucky that they were prepared for me and our strange ways.

Thanks for visiting and as my Uncle Che says... “May your bones always have meat and may you have nice green grass to roll in”.
